If you have a college degree, at least one year of skilled work experience, and decent English skills—this may be your best option.
Step-by-step:
Take your IELTS (General) test
Get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)
Create a profile at Canada’s immigration website
Wait for an Invitation to Apply (ITA) if you meet the points cutoff (CRS)
⏱ Processing time: Around 6–12 months
Can’t reach the CRS cutoff in Express Entry? Provinces like Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan have their own nominee programs that welcome workers in specific fields.
Some PNPs require:
A job offer
Previous study or work experience in that province
A relative living there
